Continuing her writer&#8217;s career, after publishing several notable books, he is currently concentrating on her work as an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.timesofisrael.com\/author\/inna-rogatchi\/\">essayist<\/a>\u00a0 being published regularly in leading European, American, Australian and other media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inna Rogatchi is one of only two women among fifteen leading European politicians (including the president of the European Parliament, the prime minister of Finland, members of the EU Commission, and leaders of the political factions from the European Parliament) who contributed to the book&nbsp;<em><strong>Quo Vadis, Europe?<\/strong><\/em>&nbsp;published on the occasion of the launching of the pan-European electoral campaign for the new European Parliament.&nbsp;<strong>Fritz W. (C) The Rogatchi Archive. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0In her capacity as\u00a0<strong><em>a scholar and lecturer<\/em><\/strong>, Inna has created and taught several special courses for universities (departments of history and international affairs), focusing on the inter-weave of\u00a0 history, culture and psychology. (C) The Rogatchi Archive.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Working as\u00a0<strong><em>a film-maker\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>&#8211; being producer, director and author of several critically acclaimed documentaries &#8211; Inna focuses on a first-hand portrayal of historical personalities and significant phenomena of modern times. She has worked in the genre of &#8216;the metaphorical documentary&#8217; and emphasises her belief in the concept of &#8216;authored film-making&#8217;. Among her films is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rogatchifilms.org\/lessons-of-survival\/\"><em><strong>The Lessons of Survival: Conversations with Simon Wiesenthal<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0\u00a0<\/a>which has earned international reputation and is critically acclaimed.\u00a0 Additionally to Simon Wiesenthal with whom Inna and her husband Michael were close friends, Inna has portrayed many legendary people of our times in her films, including President\u00a0<strong>Vaclav Havel<\/strong>, outstanding Soviet dissident\u00a0<strong>Vladimir Bukovsky,<\/strong>\u00a0Academician\u00a0<strong>Sakharov&#8217;s<\/strong>\u00a0widow\u00a0<strong>Elena Bonner<\/strong>, legendary Italian judge\u00a0<strong>Pierluigi Vigna<\/strong>, leading American historians\u00a0<strong>Jerrold<\/strong>\u00a0and<strong>\u00a0Leona Schecter<\/strong>\u00a0and many others.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Inna is also an internationally acclaimed artist, with many exhibitions held in Finland, Lithuania, Belgium (at the European Parliament), Italy, UK, USA, Israel, Russia, Estonia and other countries, her works are being exhibited in museums, public institutions as well as private collections world-wide. Her special genre is the photo and video-essay based on extensive research, in which she exams the inter-connection between culture, history and mentality. Many of Inna&#8217;s short films have been acquired by the\u00a0<strong>Yad Vashem Visual Centre<\/strong>\u00a0and are used there in the Yad-Vashem educational programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inna was a special guest artist with several projects for the European Parliament including S<em><strong>hining Souls. Champions Of Humanity\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<strong>in memory of<\/strong>\u00a0<em><strong>Elie Wiesel<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<strong>and in commemoration of<\/strong>\u00a0<em><strong>The International Holocaust Remembrance Day\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>( 2017) and \u00a0<em><strong>The Route<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0\u00a0in commemoration of the\u00a0<strong>Day of Jerusalem<\/strong>\u00a0at the European Parliament (2012); at the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the restoration of the famous Campanilla at St Marc Square in Venice; at a special exhibition\u00a0<strong>Homage to Italian Cinema<\/strong>\u00a0in conjunction with the<strong>69th Venice Film Festival<\/strong>; at the\u00a0<strong>VII International Musical Collection Festival<\/strong>\u00a0in the St Petersburg Academic Philharmonic, and many other special international arts and culture events. More about Inna&#8217;s art can be seen at her art-dedicated site, <a href=\"https:\/\/innarogatchiart.com\/\"><strong>Silver Strings: Inna Rogatchi Art. <\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In her <em>philanthropic activities<\/em>,  with her husband artist Michael Rogatchi, Inna co-founded both\u00a0<strong>Arts Against Cancer (AAC)<\/strong>\u00a0and later\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rogatchifoundation.org\/\"><strong>The Rogatchi Foundation<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Arts Against Cancer was an international charity founded by the Rogatchis whose success for over a decade led to their establishing The Rogatchi Foundation, which is actively supporting international educational, cultural, and charitable activities. (C) The Rogatchi Archive. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Among Inna&#8217;s public recognitions, she was the first woman and the third person to be awarded with\u00a0<strong>The Patmos Solidarity Award<\/strong>\u00a0for &#8216;the hard labour of memory&#8217; ( 2014).\u00a0In 2013, she was awarded, together with her husband artist Michael Rogatchi by\u00a0<strong>The New York Jewish Children&#8217;s Museum International Award for Outstanding Contribution in Arts and Culture<\/strong>, alongside the outstanding musician\u00a0<strong>Evgeny Kissin<\/strong>\u00a0.
